- This is a valuable resource because I will be able to talk to potential costumers.
- I feel like its not really a rare skill, because many teenager get costumer service jobs as their first job.
- It's an inimitable skill, but I also believe everyone has differing training at varying places, resulting in having different idea about how to treat a costumer.
2. Public speaking
- This is a value recourse because this will help with pitching and selling my product to a room full of people. I did theatre in the past and that is a skill that has greatly helped me with speaking to crowds.
- I feel like this skill is a little more rare.
- Many people struggle with speaking in public, so even though I do feel this is a inimitable skill, it is challenging,
3. Innovation Minor
- This is valuable because its helps me come up with new idea and gives me the resources and knowledge to follow through with them.
- This is more rare as well, because only people in the Innovation Academy can receive this minor.
- With the poeple in the Innovation Academy, this is a inimitable skill because everyone is getting the same training and resources in order to complete the minor.
4. Networking
- Through this course, we interviewed people that could get us closer to our goal. This is very valuable because we always have people we can reach out to if we hit a road block or need help in the venture process.
- People definitley have issues with networking, but through this class I was able to attain this skills.
- This is an inimitable skill because anyone can go out an network, but the hard part is doing it with the right people.
5. Empathy
- I am an extremely empathic person. This is valuable bacuse I can put myself in the shoes of others to allow myself to innovate solutions to other people needs.
- I feel like this skill is more rare.
- While this a very inimitable skill, it is one that not many people access use to its full potential.
6. Team player
- I am able to work well in a team. This is super valuable because I can take everyones ideas into account.
- This skill is rare because often times people have problems working in groups and fights break out.
- This is an inimitable skills because people have the potential to be a team player, though its is often hard to agree with everyone while working in a team.
7. Motivations
- I'm able to see my goals and work them through until the end.
- I feel like this skill is a little rare because most people start with a lot of motivation but it dies down as the project goes on.
- Everyone has motivation, but many people can't hold on to that motivation for the duration of a project.
8. Creativity
- I am a Telecommunications major and a lot of the work that I do revolves around creativity, weather that comes to editing or stringing together stories.
- This is a pretty common skill, most people are creativity in different mediums.
- Everyone can be creative.
9. Work well under pressure
- In the newsroom, we are always under pressure, but I feel like I do my best work during those times.
- This is rare.
- This is a hard skill to replicate because I feel like many people crack under pressure.
10. Flexible
- I have many organizations on top of my classes. Flexible is a skill that I have learned because of this.
- This is rare.
- This is a hard skill to replicate because finding a balance is something everyone struggles with in a busy schedule.
My top resource is my public speaking skill. That will help me with pitches and ultimately sell my product.

It is indeed rare since it is common for people to struggle with it. Also, I will have to agree with you that public speaking might be your top resource! For the future, keep on the excellent work. ReplyDeleteGreat job on your unfair advantage. You have a lot of valuable skills for business. One of the things I am surprised at is the fact that I work with a lot of successful retirees that ran businesses and many of them have middle school educations. The social skills and work ethic are so important in starting and running a business.
